National Travel Systems is excited to announce the successful launch of its 3D
Video Services through our joint-venture with Southern Africa Travel, a division
of Giltedge Africa Group. Our new company, www.3dafricansafaris.com is the
industry's first launch of a consumer-driven website that is primarily powered
by either 3D or HD video content.
Richard A. Cooper, president of National Travel Systems, stated, "With the
tremendous growth of accessibility of SMART TVs and high resolution HD
equipment in the consumer market, we felt this was an opportunity to launch
our industry's first 3D website for the traveling public. Our state-of-the-art
video library is the most innovative and optimal way of experiencing your
tailor-made safari adventure in the comfort of your own home or office." This
new Video Services division of National Travel is led by Kristi Wuensche in
Lubbock, Texas. "We will virtually transport you to Africa in 3D or HD and give
you a very realistic look into the sights and sounds of your dream vacation.
What you will see is exactly what we experienced in 3D; through our technology
we can bring this African adventure to you in an entertaining and cutting-edge
fashion," Wuensche said.
With offices in both Cape Town, South Africa and Austin, Texas, Southern Africa
Travel has over 30 years in-depth knowledge of travel to southern and eastern
Africa as well as the Indian Ocean islands.

Tour of Gymnastics Champions

The Tour of Gymnastics Champions tickets are now on sale! The tour features live performances by 2008 Olympic champion Nastia Liukin, members of the men's and women's 2011 World Championships and 2012 Olympic teams, along with past Olympians and U.S. medalists in men's, women's, rhythmic and acrobatic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling.

Shrek was here in Lubbock! National Travel brought Shrek to visit kids in our local area hospitals. The public was able to come meet him on Saturday, May 14, in our lobby. Thank you to everyone who visited and bought a hot dog lunch — a portion of the proceeds will go to our local area hospitals to help kids.

Children's Advocacy Center Unites Entire Community to Stand up for Kids
LUBBOCK – The Children's Advocacy Center of the South Plains invites the entire community to join together to Stand up for Kids on Saturday, April 2 from 12:00 to 2 p.m. at Leroy Elmore Park located inside the Loop at South Loop 289 at Quaker.
April is Child Abuse Prevention month and this event is meant to focus attention to the overwhelming number of children who are abused each day in Lubbock and surrounding communities. The Lubbock area has more than twice the number of reported cases of child abuse than state of Texas average per capita.
There will be entertainment, free food and a public awareness event where participants are asked to hold a sign containing the vital information of a child served by the CAC in the past year. Each person who holds a sign will automatically be entered in a free drawing to win a free cruise from National Travel.
The event is sponsored by Suddenlink and National Travel.
